What a pleasant vision this morning from my studio window: The cherry trees on my street have started to bloom.

Soon spring will be all over Vancouver City.

During this long rainy and cold winter season, I was working on a series of Mr.M paintings still in progress.The formats are longer and the new paintings capture calm, contemplative moments and humoristic situations as well.

Mr.M continues to visit the majestic BC landscapes.

Soizick Meister is a Swiss freelance artist / illustrator living in Vancouver, Canada. Since 1980, she has been working for magazine and book publishers, combining traditional acrylic and digital techniques. Her humorous and surreal paintings have been shown in exhibitions in Europe and Canada. Private and corporate collectors worldwide own her paintings.
